Tiffany (Josh's sister) gave us quite a scare on Thursday. She was at Girl's Camp all week and was set to come home on Thursday at 3 PM. Apparently that wasn't fast enough for Tiffy, so at about 10 AM she decided to change the plans. She was wakeboarding at Girls Camp on Deer Creek Reservoir. She fell off the wakeboard and felt a little sick, so she got back on the boat. A few moments later Tiffy slumped over on her friend and she was unresponsive. Her eyes were open but she wasn't speaking, blinking , or otherwise saying anything. They rushed back to the dock and Tiffy still was not responsive, so they called an ambulance from Heber to take her to the hospital there. After she arrived in Heber, they realized that it was pretty serious and said she had signs of trauma and needed to fly her to Primary Children's ASAP. The paramedics were members of the LDS church and gave her a blessing. Quickly they flew off to Primary Children's. In the frantic rush to get her to Primaries, they realized they had forgot some equipment and had to fly back to Heber before continuing to Salt Lake. About halfway through the flight to SLC, Tiffany started to do better. She started to responding a bit to people. Josh and Robert (Dad) were waiting at Primary Children's. At this point we hadn't heard what was going on, we just knew it was serious. As they took Tiffy by us on the stretcher she looked pretty out of it, her eyes were kind of glazed. However, we were able to go into the room and she started to slowly snap out of it. They eventually diagnosed her with a severe concussion and said she must have sustained it when she fell the last time on the wakeboard. By 3 AM the next morning she was doing great. It was scary, but we are very glad Tiffy is ok.
